Molly M. Bornhorst

Molly began her legal career in 1995 after obtaining an Associate in Business degree in Legal Assisting. She later went on and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organization Management and then joined the firm in 2008. Molly primarily assists Attorney Zimmerman and shares in the office management duties. Molly has two grown children and resides in Minster with her husband.

Chris Houck

Chris is originally from New York and has lived in Ohio for over 26 years. She has over 38 years of experience as a legal secretary, the majority of which has been in family law. Chris started at the firm of Hegemann & Zimmerman in 2022 and works with Heath Hegemann and Emily Mothmiller. Chris also works part time with the Shelby County Prosecutor’s office as an assistant. Chris has three grown children and lives in Troy with her husband, Glenn and their two pugs, Sophie and Doug.

Macy Everett

Macey Everett is a legal assistant with Hegemann & Zimmerman Co., LPA. She provides assistance in the areas of divorce and custody cases. Macey is also employed by the Shelby County Prosecutor’s Office, where she assists with the juvenile delinquency docket, cases involving Shelby County Department of Job and Family Services – Children Services Division, and felony cases. Macey has been with Hegemann & Zimmerman Co., LPA for 5 years, when she began her venture into the legal community. 

Macey earned her bachelors in Psychology from Heidelberg University. Macey resides in Sidney, with her husband, Matthew, and their five children. 

Angie Albers

Angie Albers is a legal assistant with Hegemann & Zimmerman Co., LPA. She provides assistance to all attorneys in the firm by fielding phone calls and providing assistance on numerous fronts. Angie is one of the first people you’ll meet when coming into Hegemann & Zimmerman Co., LPA, and always greets clients with a smile. 

Angie lives in McCartyville with her husband Tom. Angie has five children, and ten grandchildren.  

Kris Masteller

Kris Masteller is a legal assistant with Hegemann & Zimmerman Co., LPA. She provides assistance to all attorneys in the firm through various means. Kris is one of the first people you’ll meet when coming into Hegemann & Zimmerman Co., LPA, and she’ll greet you with a positive attitude and a smile.



Kris has lived in Sidney her whole life. Spending time with family and friends is important to Kris.
